I Have Lots of Books to Read

So. Let me start off by saying that one of my favorite things to do...is peruse books in a book store (or Costco or anyplace that has books!). I usually wind up finding one or two books that I'd like to read...and add them to my list.

Most of them are fiction. Some are non-fiction, a couple are intended for the young adult, some are about raising kids, some are indulgent chick lit reads, some are...well--you get the idea. There are a lot of books that I have left to read. After I read them I generally sell them on ebay so I don't have them anymore if they are marked as read.

If I liked the book, I'll give a better review later.

Great list - I'm going to have to print it out. Dogs of Babel looks good.
I just ordered The Other Boleyn Girl and I'm going to get The Time Traveler's Wife from the library thanks to your recommendations :-)

Have you read "A Brief History of the Dead" by Kevin Brockmeier? I can't say it's written as well as it probably could have been but the concept of it is just so original - unlike anything I've ever read. I read it months ago and I still frequently think about it.

That's quite a list you have (mine's not quite so ambitious!).

During the month of March, I was collecting thoughts and stories from friends and readers, who are also parents, about things they, looking back, wish they would have known about pregnancy, L&D, post-pregnancy, and life with baby during the first year. While it is mostly my own account, I wanted to take into consideration the opinions of other parents. Think of it as an unconventional spin on the What To Expect series.

Have any input? It's only April 1st, and I am sure I could find some room for your thoughts ;-) Just go back to my site and click on the label in my sidebar "my book."

Hope you come back often :-)
